Casa do Roseiral, in Palácio de Cristal, is the privileged space reserved for citizens with reduced mobility and special needs who wish to enjoy Red Bull Air Race live. This measure is an initiative by Porto City Hall that provides disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility easy access to a balcony with fantastic views and privileged location overlooking the river Douro.

The Sailing World Championship, the European 49ers and 49erFX Championship began today in Porto and Matosinhos. It is the biggest and most important event ever organised in Portugal, involving the World Olympic Sailing Classes Championship. The best international athletes, namely world and Olympic champions, renowned worldwide, compete at the highest level of Sailing Classes that is setting records in participation numbers, engaging 145 sailing boats and more than half a thousand people.

Red Bull Air Race is just around the corner. The Portucale Race is a 15K road race that takes place between Arrábida and Freixo Bridges, this Sunday, 16 July. This is the third edition of this road race, organised by Porto Athletic centre and sponsored by Porto City Hall.

The 18th edition of São João race will take place June 18th. in the framework of the festivities of the city's patron, São João, which is celebrated in the evening of 23rd June.

On May 27th and 28th, 2017, Extreme Clube Lagares will hold the 13th edition of the Porto Extreme XL Lagares, under the aegis of the Federação Motociclismo de Portugal.

The registration process for the 2017 Porto Half Marathon begins on February 1. The race is organized by Runporto with full support of the municipalities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia.
