Minigolf Champions' League will take place in Porto from 4 to 6 October, in Passeio Alegre, Foz. The club teams who achieved the highest place of the podium of the National Team Championship in each national federation, as well as the cupholders of the previous year, qualify for this event.

The "Days with Energy" is a municipal project aimed at promoting physical activity and raising awareness on the importance of staying active and living a healthy lifestyle. Be it Pilates, yoga or tai-chi sessions, the municipal programme provides a whole weekend of working out and inhaling the nature's fresh air. Participation in the sessions is free, the only requirement is the use of comfortable equipment.

Porto plays host to the Porto Open 19th edition, from 21 to 29 July, featuring the best national tennis players and some promising international players of this sport, at Porto Tennis Club.

Porto Antistress session, the second of its type, is scheduled for 10th June at the Parque Oriental, in Campanhã. Rendez-vous is at the Municipal Pavilion Lagarteiro (in front of the park), at 10 am. The morning begins with warm up and stretching sessions, inside the pavilion, followed by an open-air trekking in the park and other physical exercises.

The first weekend of June sees the 34th edition of the Porto International Meeting in the Campanhã swimming pool complex. This is the final qualification event to the Absolute European Championship, which will take place in Scotland, Glasgow, between 3 and 9 August.

Participants to the 13th women's race kept pouring this past Sunday, May 20th. This was a record number of participants with over 22 thousand women either running or walking throughout the streets of Porto, dressed in rose tinted t-shirts.

FC Porto has raised the National Champions Trophy at the Town Hall's main balcony, facing the large crowd of fans who stood for hours at Avenida dos Aliados partying and celebrating the title of Portuguese National Champions.

The EDP Women's Run takes place on May 20th, with a race track entirely set in the district of Campanhã. The fundamental aim of the race is to raise awareness on Breast Cancer and promote physical activity in the female population. Eighteen thousand women have already registered, but the goal is to reach twenty two thousand applications, plus two thousand than last year's edition.

Futebol Clube do Porto, commonly known as FC Porto or simply Porto (aka Blue and Whites or Dragons), has conquered the national title of Champion of the Primeira Liga, the top flight of Portuguese football, for the season 2017-2018. Porto City Hall will open its doors to the Dragons but only after the last calendar match of the season versus Vitória SC in Guimarães.
