Forget expensive concerts, one of the wealthiest forms of wellness might very well be this free outdoor jazz performance, on 25th August at the Gardens of Palácio de Cristal.

The show "The Three Little Pigs", based on "The Nursery Rhymes of England" (1886), by James Halliwell-Phillipps takes to the stage this Friday, 17th August at the Theatre of Belomonte, to mark the 30th anniversary of Porto Puppet Theatre.

House Museum Guerra Junqueiro promotes this Saturday at 11 am a visit to the exhibition "Encontros", which includes visual artwork by the Nobel Prize in Literature Günter Grass (1927-2015). There will be a workshop after the tour. Both initiatives are free, with mandatory previous application.

The "Quatro Elementos" exhibition catalogue, by Porto City Hall and designed by Pedro Nora, was selected to take part in the international annual competition "Best Book Design from all over the World". The Quatro Elementos exhibition was organised by Porto City Hall and it was curated by Ana Luísa Amaral (Water), Eduarda Neves (Earth), Pedro Faro (Fire) and Nuno Faria (Air).

From 1 to 31 August, Casa da Música offers the cycle "Portugal A Gosto", featuring national and traditional music, with evening concerts, giving materiality to urban and rural sounds.

The Casa da Música hosts The Paris Boys Choir, on 24th July, at 9 pm. This concert is entrance free, but previous ticket collection is required.

This competition is organised by "Curso de Música Silva Monteiro" and the winners of this 20th edition will be announced on 22 July, at 6 pm, at Casa da Música.

The 9th International Urban Sketchers Symposium starts this week in Porto, from 18 to 21 July, 2018 at the Customs Building in Porto. Urban sketchers of all experiences and backgrounds will gather to share their knowledge and to network.
