On display in the Municipal Gallery the exhibition "100 Treasures of Public Porto Library," a show that was born of an idea of former Culture Councilman of Porto City Hall, Paulo Cunha e Silva, and suggests a trip to the collections of the Municipal Public Library (BPMP).

At 75, Ney Matogrosso experienced yesterday a great evening at Coliseu do Porto. "I love to come here" said the artist and put Porto cheering.

"Liaisons" is the topic of this year's edition of the Fórum of the Future, that offers conferences by speakers from various artistic, human and scientific areas. The forum is an international festival of thought, from 1 to 6 November at Teatro Rivoli, but also in Serralves, Casa da Musica and São João National Theatre whose main objective is to bring together guests from multiple areas of thinking to discuss issues that matter to contemporary societies.

Serralves hosts this Thursday, the 27th, at 6.30 p.m., in its library, the conference "The importance of assembly: how to set up an exhibition from a collection," by Caroline Bourgeois, Curator of the prestigious Pinault collection.

The Porto Municipal Theatre is hosting this Saturday at 9.30 p.m., the show " The Ventriloquists convention", by the Franco-Austrian creator Gisèle Vienne, in the Grand Auditorium of Rivoli, to the closing of this year's Porto International Puppet Festival.

"Looking for Lem" of the Teatro de Ferro, is presented this Friday and Saturday at the Teatro Campo Alegre, in the International Puppet Festival of Porto 2016 (FIMP 2016).

Guitarist Sandro Norton performs at Coliseu Porto alongside Gary Burton, one of the most respected jazz musicians in the world scene, introducing the repertoire of Flying High? At the Heart of It, project which released the debut album of this musician from Porto.

From 1 to 6 November, the city of Porto hosts the third Forum of the Future. The festival of thinking, organized by the Municipality of Porto, will feature 28 international guests and 13 national guests, on the subject of "Liaisons" that will debate the contemporary world connections through science, culture, spirituality, feelings and utopias.

The second edition of Queer Porto film festival will take place from 5 to 9 October at the Municipal Theatre of Porto, with the exhibition of 30 films from 15 countries. This year, the focus is on the retrospective of the New Queer Cinema.
