On November 25, Porto will host the International Job Fair, an international event targeted at Erasmus students and endorsed by the Porto City Hall, at the Hard Club Café. The event is organized by Talent Portugal in partnership with Erasmus Student Network Porto and takes place between 10 am and 8 pm.

The Municipal Theatre of Porto premieres the choreography "Ah/Ha", by the Belgian choreographer Lisbeth Gruwez. The laughing body is the core of this Voetvolk production where five bodies meet at a locale without a name. They slowly clash one another and coalesce in one of the most expressive manifestations of humankind: laughter. The result is an encounter that becomes a dangerous feast of shared ecstacy.

The 5th Ibero-American Design Biennial (BID), held this week in Madrid, has awarded the Porto's City Identity and Branding Proposal, Porto., designed by local firm White Studio, with special prizes Diseño Y Ciudad / Ayuntamiento de Madrid e Diseño para (por y con) la Cultura.

The restaurant Antiqvvm, in Porto, has been awarded a star by Michelin, that selects the best establishments in the world.

Porto already has a Hard Rock Cafe which opened for business last Sunday in Porto city centre, more precisely in Rua do Almada, 120, reviving a nineteenth century landmark building. The Rock Shop, where the famous T-shirts are sold, has been in operation since September.

The Oupa! Cerco will represent Portugal at the Error festival in Bratislava, Slovakia, where members of the project from Porto will present the initiative and give a concert. Gisela Borges, project coordinator, explained that "the festival has been taking place for 10 years and it is a retrospective of social work using art as a tool."

The city will have two active natural ice rinks: from December 1 to January 8, one in Mouzinho de Albuquerque Square (aka Rotunda da Boavista) and another in Praça da Batalha. As has been the tradition in recent years at Christmas in Porto, children and grown-ups will be able to cheer up, snow playing and risking a pirouette in the ice rinks.

Porto is one of the best European cities to live and work, second only to Tartu, Estonia. The city of Porto is singled out as 70% cheaper to live in than New York City, according to The Independent, online British newspaper and Business Insider, news site founded in 2009 in New York.

"Eyes wide open! 100 years of Leica photography" is the next exhibition to be featured at the Municipal Gallery of Porto from November 30, 2016 to February 5, 2017.

The location of the Bolhão Temporary Market in La Vie Shopping Center, a few meters from the market that will be restored, was approved on Monday, November 21, in the Municipal Assembly, without any negative vote.
