The scene is set: from 8 to 12 June there will be a team of amazing storytellers that will make it through the University of Porto; there will be inspiring stories, life moments to hold on to, collective imagined scenarios, poetry, even, or music and stand-up comedy by former students and teachers that have a strong liaison with the place they used to call “home” and thus create the unique and first U. Porto Fest.

U.Porto new students welcome kit is available for pick up following pandemic interruption

The offer of the welcome kits to the 2020/2021 UP new students will be resumed from 7 to 25 June, at the Loja da Universidade, upon presentation of the respective voucher. The distribution had been interrupted last October, owing to the pandemic.

CIIMAR continues to build its globally recognised cyanobacteria collection for more than 30 years

The past 13th April saw the celebrations of the 30 years that the LEGE-CC collection of cyanobacteria and microalgae started at the Interdisciplinary Centre of Maritime and Environmental Investigation (CIIMAR). Recognised globally, the LEGE-CC collection features over 1200 samples of cyanobacteria and microalgae, with a technological interest.
