The University of Porto provides a total number of 567 vacancies for international students for the school year 2018/2019, 155 more places than the previous academic year. Applications must be submitted via Faculty (or Degree) where the student intends to study.

60.6 million Passengers used the Metro in 2017

The Metro of Porto was used by 60.6 million passengers in 2017. An increase of around 2.6 million passengers compared to the year 2016. Passenger number has increased, according to the Metro Company, which represents a growth of 4.5% compared to the 58 million passengers in 2006.

The starting signal for S. Silvestre Race in Porto is at 6 pm, on 30 December. Arrival and departure are at Avenida dos Aliados. After the race, it is time for the concert with HMB, which will go on stage at 10.30 pm and will officially inaugurate New Year's Eve celebrations in Porto.
