Wine Essence returns to Stock Exchange Palace in March

The 18th edition of Wine Essence, considered the “major wine experience in Portugal”, returns to Stock Exchange Palace between the 31st of March and the 3rd of April.

Considered one of the major showcases of Portuguese wines nationwide, the event brings producers closer to the public, through the sharing of experiences and ideas, where they reveal new products and give a taste of the fruits of their work. The organisation ensures that the 2022 edition will once again bring together “the big names of wine and new projects in the sector”.

The programme will also include, a set of activities, such as, the “election of the new “TOP 10 Portuguese Wines””, commented tastings and masterclasses, educational talks on wine, gastronomic/ wine pairings, among other activities.

The event, initially scheduled for this month of February, was postponed, according to the promoters, so that it could take place “as normally as possible, respecting the recommendations of the General Direction of Health and the Government”. “The moment we are living forces us to make this change in the usual calendar. We have considered different possibilities and these dates seem to be the most appropriate. Exhibitors and visitors will be able to enjoy the new edition of Wine Essence – Porto in a quieter and less worried way, insofar as the known forecasts move the first weeks of Spring away from the pandemic peek”, said Nuno Guedes Vaz Pires, director of Wine Essence and Revista de Vinhos, quoted in a press release.
