Margaret Atwood won the Man Booker Prize, Arthur C. Clarke Award, Governor General's Award, and the National Book Critics and PEN Center USA Lifetime Achievement Awards. Atwood is a founder of the Griffin Poetry Prize and Writers' Trust of Canada.

As if all the listed above wasn't enough, Atwood has also invented the LongPen technology that facilitates the remote robotic writing of documents.

The Forum is also called Ágora Club, on account of Agora (ancient Greek term), meaning the public discussion on a wide range of topics.
