About 30 Port and Douro Wine producers get together for a Sunset Party, on 8th September. This event is open to the entire city. The hot spot is the Garden of the Oliveiras (next to the Clérigos Tower), from 5 to 10 pm.
The Sunset Party, organised by the Port and Douro Wines Institute (IVDP), invites the entire city to taste Porto and Douro Wines. When the sun starts to pull on the horizon, the fun begins, with music, excitement and lots of surprises.
This is the perfect occasion to meet the producers, experience cocktails and enjoy a fantastic experience.
The Sunset Party, scheduled for 8th September, is part of the 5th edition of the Porto Wine Day, promoted by the IVDP, which runs till 10th September, in several places in the Douro Valley.
