The programme of Porto Urban Art launched another Call for artistic interventions in the city’s public space. This new phase of this project is curated by Hazul, the artist from Porto and the goal is to display street art by five local artists, the rule being that there has to be colour uniformity in the street art palette, and the chosen colour is green and/or several shades also included.

This new wall, nearby the viaduct of Santa Luzia, was made available to the entire community, with all five selected projects put forward, by local artists. The initiative is implemented by the municipal company Ágora – Cultura e Desporto do Porto.

The new set of urban art interventions was presented until the end of December, and now several walls in Porto accommodate this artistic genre, namely Rua da Restauração.

In parallel, two other walls in the city of Porto will showcase street urban art: Rua da Alegria, which will be by direct invitation to an artist, and another in Foz, at the Travessa da Senhora da Luz, which will work in a free and rotating regime, according to the previously selected proposals.

The selected street art will remain in place for one year.
