Scheduled for the 26th, 27th and 28th of May at Alfândega do Porto, the JN North Festival, formerly the North Music Festival, features Tricky, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Waterboys and Ornatos Violeta. A total of 14 new names have been announced to join the previously confirmed ones, in a line-up that is being revealed.

The first day is entirely dedicated to Portuguese music with the bands that carry over from the postponed edition and that include headliners Ornatos Violeta, who celebrate 30 years on the Alfândega do Porto stage, Linda Martini, Zen, Paus, Paraguaii, Pedro da Linha and now joined by RIOT.

On the 27th of May, the organisation bets on a day dedicated to sounds that range from Hip Hop to Indie Rock with the already announced Tricky, Capicua, Domingues, T-Rex, Cassete Pirata, Throes + The Shine and even more names to be announced soon.

The Jesus and Mary Chain and the Waterboys are the headliners of the last day of the JN North Festival, which also features the iconic band from Porto GNR, that celebrates its 40th anniversary at home, David Fonseca, Keep Razors Sharp, Moullinex & Xinobi and DJ Vibe.

The concerts will be divided between three stages (the main stage, the sunset and clubbing), with some performances taking place on boats on the Douro River. Tickets are already available at the usual places and online. The pre-sale of the three-day ticket costs 90 euros and daily tickets are 50 euros.
