Frost by Sharunas Bartas premieres at Campo Alegre Theatre, on 1 March at 6.30 pm, repeating at 10 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, there is an extra screening at 3.30 pm.

Frost is a 2017 drama film directed by Sharunas Bartas and it was selected as the Lithuanian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 90th Academy Awards, in 2018, but it was not nominated.

The film portrays young Lithuanian Rokas (played by Mantas Janciauskas) who volunteers to drive a humanitarian aid truck to Donbass region of Ukraine, together with his girlfriend Inga (Lyja Maknaviciute).

Amid the violence and death of the War in Donbass, they meet different war reporters, one of whom is played by Vanessa Paradis. The situation changes and the couple is left to their fate in a war scenario. As they arrive in the Front, they start to realise they are also emotionally involved.

Sharunas Bartas (born 16 August 1964) is a Lithuanian film director and one of the most prominent Lithuanian film directors in the 20th century.
