Porto Extreme XL Lagares kicks off 27 May, starting at 10 am, at Ribeira do Porto.

This year, 225 pilots - the maximum allowed under the Extreme XL Regulation - representing 16 nationalities will take part in the race.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Portuguese race that scores for the World Enduro Championship begins in the particularly challenging itinerary of Ribeira do Porto, which is regarded by many as the most difficult route of the entire series.

The 13th edition of the Porto Extreme XL Lagares, is held under the São João Festivities of the municipality of Porto, and has become a major popular and tourist attraction.

Despite the early closing of applications, this year's edition is already considered as the best ever, with 225 teams representing 16 countries.

Pilots like Alfredo Gomez Cantero (KTM Racing), Mario Roman, Sherco official pilot and Lars Enockl, winner of Red Bull Sea to Sky 2016, attending the race for the first time, will be present on the circuit.
