Douro landscapes dazzle visitors

Tourism in Porto and in the North ever more attracting not only to tourists but to the international press as well.
English publication "The Telegraph" highlights the architectural and gastronomic beauty, the media events - such as New year's eve in Porto, the Douro Harvest Film Festival, among many other examples - and the landscape that dazzles those who pass through this region.
The January Travel supplement of the renowed English newspaper "The Telegraph" has just named the Douro and more concretely the Pinhão as one of the most beautiful river ports in the world. According to journalist James Ellis, this Pinhão- Portugal are among the "world top ten", alongside: Budapest-Hungary, Durnstein-Austria, Manaus-Brazil, Veere-Holland, Bordeaux-France, Stockholm, Luxor-Egypt, Chongaing-China And Long Bay-Vietnam.
