The IFMAT Summit themed "Digital Transformation on Society and on the Economy" is the first international summit to take place in Portugal to debate finance, accounting, marketing, management and similar areas.

This event will take place in Porto, in the Ferreira Borges Market, on 19 and 20 April.

Throughout the two-day gathering, participants will discuss the societal impact of digital transformation, namely in the economic and social areas.

As digitalization disrupts society, there is a great concern regarding the way it affects jobs, salaries, disparity, wellbeing, resource efficiency and security.
More than 20 speakers will help build a comprehensive debate on the positive contribution of digital transformation to society.

The IFMAT (International Finance, Management Accounting and Taxation) is aimed at "training top professionals, thus making companies more competitive".
This summit includes conferences and debates, hands-on sessions and also networking.

Some of the relevant topics under discussion are "Policies of the cities of the future and increased business", "Artificial intelligence and companies' competitiveness" or "The present and the future of virtual currencies- Digital coins".
