World community of investors met with city's entrepreneurs

Investors from numerous countries and Portuguese entrepreneurs were gathered for two days at Porto Smart Capital 2017 - Tech Tour International Venture Club. 

New businesses, investment strategies and scalability processes were part of the agenda, where the scale-up process was one of the major issues to be discussed.

This event was promoted by Porto City Hall, ANJE- National Association for Young Entrepreneurs and Indico Capital Partners.

ANJE headquarters played host to the meeting that gathered over 100 senior investors for the corporate segment, independent venture-capital fund managers, strategic investors and company leaders.

Councilman for Innovation, Filipe Araújo, welcomed the participants and enhanced the significant way "Porto has contributed to shape the economic and entrepreneurial setting of the country, and Porto standing out because of the number of technological startups and also the "balance" between this new type of business and the traditional companies".
