Women's Run is back in Avenida dos Aliados

The 14t edition of the Women's Run is set for 19 May. The race track includes departure from the Alameda das Antas, at 10am, and the finish line will be at Avenida dos Aliados.

This is a 5 Km running or trekking course. In 2018, the all-female race, included women from 25 different countries and hit a record number of participants, with 22 thousand competitors.

The event, organised by Runporto with the support of Porto City Hall via PortoLazer, has the fundamental aim of raising awareness on Breast Cancer and promoting physical activity in the female population; thus, for each application, one euro is donated to IPO-Porto and the gfight against Breast cancer.

Previous editions of the Women's Race raised over 220 thousand euros for this cause.

Registrations are open at www.runporto.com or at any Sport Zone Shop in Porto Metropolitan area.
