Wine event celebrates 15 years with renewed commitment to quality

The 15th edition of the Wine Essence event (EV) will take place between 22 and 25 February, at the Palácio da Bolsa (Stock Exchange Palace) with renewed commitment to the quality of Portuguese wine, ensuring international disclosure as to raise awareness of Portuguese labels across borders.

Nuno Pires, EV Director, declared that "over one hundred wine experts and importers from several countries will be present, and will be able to network directly with the producers to encourage new business opportunities and foster Portuguese wine prestige in their respective markets".

Wine experts from countries such as the United States, Russia, Poland, Brazil, South Korea, Spain, England, France and Denmark are already confirmed to attend the 2018 trade fair.

The organisation expects to gather "about 3000 wines from 400 producers from the entire country" and announces another "Top 10 Portuguese Wines" tasting that will be assessed by experts from different nationalities.

The full programme of the event includes 50 activities, ensuring wine steeped in history, priceless expensive labels and exciting news. There will also be a food court, enlivened by Michelin Chefs and wine pairing with tapas.
