The University of Porto travels to Brazil

The University of Porto (UP) travels to Brazil to take part in the Salão do Estudante 2018 [Student's Fair 2018, free translation]. This is the most significant international Education Fair in Latin America. This event runs from 26 to 30 September.

UP is in Brazil to promote its educational offer, as an increasing number of students choose to pursue higher-education studies in Porto.

The Salão do Estudante International Fair gathers around 200 institutions from 20 countries. This event is held in different cities in Brazil, and the University of Porto will participate in the Rio de Janeiro event, on 26 September, in Copacabana, on 27 September and in São Paulo, on 29 September.

UP will have its own stand, jointly with the Faculty of Economy (FEP), the Faculty of Engineering (FEUP), and Porto Business School, where visitors will be able to go through the educational programmes of Porto University.

The number of Brazilian students who choose Porto to pursue their College education is projected to continue to grow in the future, especially in the context of the Erasmus + Mobility Programme.
