The importance of being Georges Bataille at Rivoli

The importance of being Georges Bataille will take to the stage at Rivoli on 7 June, at 9pm and repeats on 8 June, at 7pm.
Miguel Bonneville features his projects for several performances on the lives and work of artists and thinkers of the utmost importance for his artistic journey. 

This show intertwines performance and writing in a direct link with extreme political philosophies. The starting point is Georges Bataille - French essayist, philosopher and novelist of the twentieth century, who chooses sensorial experiences over logical explanations.

Bonneville mourns the "Human figure" and enters an endless and incurable process that Bataille wanted or rather believed he could solve.

The performance is directed and interpreted by Miguel Bonneville.
