Teatro Campo Alegre invites you to classic movie time with Paris, Texas

This is a great opportunity for classic film fans to watch Wim Wenders' Paris Texas in the big screen at Teatro Campo Alegre, February 16th, at 10 pm. Saturdays and Sundays there is also a film screening at 3:30 pm.

The film unanimously won the highest prize awarded at the Cannes Film Festival, the Palme d'Or in 1984, from the official jury. 

Wim Wenders filmography is being showcased by Medeia Filmes. "The State of Things" (1982), filmed in Portugal 30 years ago, premiered January 12th, "Wings of Desire" (1987), featured January 26th, and "The Left-Handed Woman (1978), was screened February 2nd.

Paris, Texas is a 1984 drama film directed by Wim Wenders and notable for the Texas landscape. The plot focuses on an amnesiac protagonist (Stanton) who, after mysteriously wandering out of the desert, attempts to rejoin with his brother (Stockwell) and seven-year-old son (Carson). He and his son end up embarking on a journey through the American Southwest to find his long-missing wife (Kinski).
