Summer agenda at Casa da Música

June 1st marks the beginning of the "Verão na Casa" at Casa da Música. Longer days and warm nights that welcome to various outings, either indoors or outdoors.
This years's Casa da Música Programming includes 120 concerts, half of which are free, from June 1st to September 16th.
Tablao, a flamenco show with Ana Pinhal and Catarina Ferreira, starting at 8.30 pm and the Brazilian band Aláfia, at 10 pm open the summer agenda in Casa da Música.
The agenda also features concerts by pianist Alexander Romanovsky, with the Symphony Orchestra of Porto and soprano Anna Hofmann, or "Piano Caos" show, a rendez-vous for tech and classical music performances by Digitopia Collective.
The feast of São João (Saint John) is still a guarantee for a must see concert at Casa da Música, this year featuring Portuguese Symphonic Band to reinterpret a repertoire that includes hits by GNR, Carlos Tê, Rui Veloso, Astor Piazzolla, Nelson Jesus, Sérgio Godinho, Vitorino and Carlos Paião.
The intense programme is targeted at every audience with multiple outdoor events, concerts, featuring a multiple range of performances.
