Sá da Bandeira Street is one of the major commercial streets in charming downtown Porto, it is the crossover point of Trindade and São Bento Station.

One of Porto's busiest pedestrian areas, the street was named in honour of Bernardo de Sá Nogueira de Figueiredo, a prominent figure in the Liberal Wars.

The street dates as back as 1836 and it is flushed with historic buildings like Bolhão Market and Sá da Bandeira Theatre.

Visitors will also find a wide range of boutiques and shops such as Chocolaterie Equador or Leica Store, the first flagship store in the Iberian Peninsula.
