Royal Air Maroc (RAM) resumes Porto-Casablanca route. The Moroccan Flagship airline is offering three weekly direct flights, on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays, leaving Airport Francisco Sá Carneiro at 5.45 pm and arriving to Casablanca at 6.20 pm local time.

The formal presentation took place yesterday at the "Salão Árabe" [Arab Hall] in the Stock Exchange Palace, an event attended by the Consul of Morocco, Royal Air Maroc Director General for Portugal and Porto City Hall Mayor, Rui Moreira.

At the official inauguration of this route, which has been operating flights since 25 June, RAM's DG thanked Mayor Rui Moreira for the way the city has welcomed this flagship airline.

Several months ago, high RAM officials visited Porto City Hall to meet with Rui Moreira.

In the past three months, Porto has been able to attract new airlines to  Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, reinforcing or reactivating routes such as British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Air France, KLM, Turkish Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, Lufthansa, TAAG, Sun d'Or (El Al), Czech Airlines and Swiss Air.
