Rivoli hosts the Bea World Gala Awards

Porto plays host to the Bea World Festival. The event runs from 15 to 18 November. This International Festival of Events and Live Communication gathers in Porto the best events agencies and customers from all around the globe. The highlight of this festival is the prize ceremony. The most anticipated moment is the award ceremony that happens 17 November in Rivoli. 

Each of the thirty categories should have five winners announced this evening. Among the finalist there are five Portuguese finalists.

This festival is a unique opportunity to promote the city of Porto and the North Region of Portugal as a destination of choice for the organisation of major events.

The assistant to the Mayor of Porto, Helena Vilasboas Tavares, delivers a speech this Friday, 17 November, themed "The Perfect Destination. What Qualifies a City to Be a Good Match?"

Several speakers from various nationalities will be present at the Customs Building, throughout the day, to talk about market trends and consumer expectations for 2018, globalisation, professionals of tomorrow, Mind sciences vs events design, marketing, the importance of networking, multicultural events, millennials or the challenge of building-up a team project for a winning event.

Starting at 8 pm, the hundreds of participants will head to Rivoli to attend the Bea World Awards ceremony.

This year, under the motto "Where Creativity Meets Business", the Bea World - which for the first time has a global dimension, after 11 editions in an European context - closes Saturday with a sightseeing programme.

After the awards there will be time for experiencing unique atmospheres and places in Porto.
