Red Bull Air Race Airport in Queimódromo is in full swing

The 14 Master Category Planes from Red Bull Air Race have landed today at the Race Airport in Queimódromo.
The space has been transformed in the Air Race Village, fully geared to host planes and pilots as well as public, with a merchandising area, bar and restaurants, a huge flight simulator and a giant screen, which be placed in the public area so that spectators and fans can better enjoy the show.
The public area is free access and will be operating for the three-day race in Porto, from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm. Entrance is done by the City Park.
There will be two signing sessions with all Red Bull Air Race main players Friday at 5.30 pm and Sunday at 11 am.
The windy afternoon was favourable for the Sailing World Championship, the European 49ers and 49erFX Championship that was running at the same time in the sea of Porto and Matosinhos but it made the Red Bull Air Race pilots' task more difficult.
Saturday, 2 September between 10 am and 11 am there will be a tour to the hangars to see up close the pilots and the aircrafts.
The award ceremony will take place Sunday, 3 September at 3.55 pm at the Race Airport in Queimódromo.
