Porto will host the 12th Collegiate Football Championship, from 23 to 30 July. This sports event will gather 500 participants from 14 countries, and it is composed by 12 female teams and 14 male teams.

The matches will be played on the artificial surface of the Ramalde Sports Park, an infrastructure that was refurbished by the municipality.

The University of Porto, which has run out Poland and England, was chosen by the European University Sports Association to organise the competition, with the support of the Atlantic Front, the Olympic Committee, the Portuguese Football Federation and the Education State Department.

The event will kick off from Porto on the 23rd July. Reigning world champions Associação Académica da Universidade do Minho (AAUM), will participate in the competition.
