Projects made in Porto win national competition on creative industries

Three projects made in Porto obtained podium positions in the framework of the 10th edition of the National Prize on Creative Industries Super Bock/Serralves.

Horizon47, Guava Shoes and Quarteto Contratempus stood out among the ten finalists and were awarded, respectively, first, second and third prizes.

As the winner of this competition, startup Horizon47 of Pedro Meireles - featuring an armchair with integrated audio support - ensures participation in the Creative Business Cup as the Portuguese representative. This is an international competition, which is held annually in Copenhagen, next November and that brings together creative industries winning projects from all over the world.

The National Prize of Creative Industries is organised by Super Bock Group and the Fundação de Serralves. In a statement by News Agency Lusa, the organisation informs that since 2008, this competition has gathered over 2.156 applications and has supported over 80 projects, namely in the technological areas.
