The urban riverfronts in Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia are the racing scene of the 5th edition of the Portucale Race set for 7 July. The starting pistol will officially be fired at 10am at the Avenue Gustavo Eiffel (next to Luiz I Bridge).

The Portucale Race is a 10K road race that takes place between Arrábida and Freixo Bridges, organised by Porto Athletic centre and sponsored by the municipalities of Porto and Gaia. Also, there is a 5K walk to enable the active participation of everyone in sporting activity.

Participants can register online at the Races' website, on their own name or in the name of an institution or association.

The race's income goes to Escola de Atletismo Rosa Mota, in order to make the program self-sustainable for carrying out the school's defined activities.
