Porto is a Football world Cup host city

The Dragão Stadium, in the city of Porto, was selected to host a match between the Brazilian team and the Panama Football team.
This will be the first time the FC Porto stadium is chosen to host a match between two international teams since it was inaugurated on 16 de November 2003. 

The Brazil squad will challenge Panama national team on 23 March, starting at 4 pm.

Next June, the Dragão will play host to the match Portugal - Switzerland of the UEFA Nations League final round and it will host the final of this same competition, with England or Holland.

In August 2020, Dragão Stadium will host the final of the European Super Cup.

Porto City Hall, jointly with the Portuguese Football federation and FC Porto, made this applications possible.
