Today, more connected with the mainstream culture, pop electronic music became more prevalent in the popular domain.

RPMM Portugal - Representing People Music Movement is the theme of the Electronic Music Festival that will take place at the Customs Building in the city of Porto, on 28 and 29 July.

In a statement, the organization explains that the purpose is to "turn Porto historic centre in the perfect playground for the lovers of this musical genre".

Guy Gerber, Matthew Dear, Âme, Damian Lazarus & Ancient Moon, Francesca Lombardo and Darius Syrossian have already booked shows, according to the festival organisation, quoted by Lusa.

Musical band Âme offers house tunes, while Damian Lazarus of Crosstown Rebels shares the stage with Ancient Moon and Francesca Lombardo.

Matthew Dear, an associate of Ghostly, will also be present at the event, alongside Darius Syrossian, one of the major house music tastemakers, and Guy Gerber, mentor of the project Rumors and founder of Innervisions.

"The historic building of Porto Customs will be the epicentre of the visual show by Jonny TV, who has worked with The Chemical Brothers and the Primal Scream, and who also is the Artistic Director of the festival", notes the organisation.
