Porto Conference Centre elected Best in Europe

Porto Conference Centre (Old Customs House) was for three times considered the best in Europe by winning the "Best Meetings & Conference Center in Europe 2017" prize, granted by the Business Destinations magazine. Porto Conference Centre had already been awarded this prize in 2014 and 2015.

The award was granted Monday, in London, at the WTM - World Travel Market fair. The granting of this prize "consolidates the position of this Congress Centre in the country and in the world" which is a "recognition of achievement and also underlines business tourism contribution for the development of the region", as stated in the Institution's Facebook page.

The Congress centre, located in the city historic centre, near the river Douro, is stage to the major events in town. The iconic building has been renovated by architect Eduardo Souto Moura. 

It comprises a wide set of auditoriums, rooms and foyers all fully furnished and equipped to the highest standard, assuring premium quality services to be used for summits, congresses, conferences, product display, workshops, cocktails, gala events and other important meetings.
