Porto celebrates Saramago's Literature Nobel at Almeida Garrett Municipal Library

The Municipal Library Almeida Garrett, located at the Gardens of Palácio de Cristal, hosts the event that celebrates twenty-years of Portuguese writer José Saramago bringing the Nobel of Literature to Portugal.

The event is scheduled to start at 9 pm, and musician Pedro Abrunhosa will talk with Anabela Mota Ribeiro, authoress of "Por Saramago", with Ricardo Viel, author of "Um país levantado em alegria", and with Pilar del Río, widower of Saramago and President of the Foundation José Saramago.

The occasion is an initiative of Porto City Hall jointly with the José Saramago Foundation, Porto Editora and Temas e Debates Publishing House.

The event is entrance free till room capacity.
