Take time to visit the exhibition themed “Que horas são que horas”, curated by José Maia, Paula Parente Pinto and Paulo Mendes. It opened on 17th December, and it pictures the role that a Municipal Gallery must play in the city.

Mayor Rui Moreira already visited the exhibition, which inaugurated precisely two weeks after “Nets of Hyphae”. Both exhibits are on show at Porto Municipal Gallery until 14th February 2021.

The previous opening date for the exhibit was 5th December, but owing to constraint related to the pandemic, such as assembly reasons, it had to be postponed. The Municipal Gallery will continue its regular programme that includes exhibitions and events devoted to contemporary art, so as to promote awareness on the current artistic tendencies and boost the debate on contemporaneity trough art.

Also on display at Porto Municipal Gallery as of 4th December is the exhibit “Nets of Hyphae”, by Diana Policarpo, and curated by Stefanie Hessler, director of the Kunsthall Trondheim, the Norwegian Gallery that co-produces this project.

Entrance is free, but subject to a maximum number of 30 visitors. The health measures issued by the DGS are in place to help prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.

See the Porto Municipal Gallery’s website for further information.
