The Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport was considered the fifth best of Europe and the 17th best in the world in dealing with waiting lines. The results, published by Casago, vacation house rental manager, are based on the passengers’ reviews.

The services in the different places were evaluated in a scale from one to five. Among the airports that obtained four or five stars, Porto’s obtained 58,82%, which places it only 8% below the first place, the Belgrade airport, in Serbia, ranked first among the European infrastructures.

The reviews were done on airlinequality.com and the world top of the passenger’s preferences in terms of waiting lines is the Changi Airport, in Singapore.

Casago reminds that “one of the main reasons for lines in airports is the continuous growth of air travels”. “The airlines and airports from all over the world fight to satisfy the post-pandemic demand, which leads to a significant flow of travellers and, consequently, to delays and constrictions in the form of long lines”.
