Registrations for the last 2018 Pláka Collectives programme - To School out of School- closes next Thursday, on 15th November.

The programme offers a short workshop on contemporary studies, focusing on collectives, solo performances, informal and institutional organisations that develop their projects in the field of curatorship and thought on culture and present time.

This initiative fosters the establishment of a national and international network of artists and cultural agents as well, prompting the debate on contemporary studies.

The programme is coordinated by Ana Rocha, cofounder of Mezzanine project, and André Sousa, artist and cofounder of the artistic project "Uma Certa Falta de Coerência", and it includes the technical and pedagogic support of curators, critics and transdisciplinary artists, such as Adrian Heathfield, Benjamin Seroussi, Catarina Saraiva, Fadwa Naamna, Irit Rogoff, Markus Miessen, Ollivier Marbeout, Pedro G. Romero and Stephan Dillemuth.

To School out of School will be held in three separate moments: TSOS I runs from 20 to 24 November, TSOS II runs from 11 to 15 December and TSOS III runs from 14 to 19 January next year.

Registrations are limited to 20 participants and cost 50 euros per participant. The registration period closes on 15 November.
