Palace of the Arts hosts the XII Painting Biennial of the Atlantic Zone

The Palace of the Arts of the Youth Foundation in Porto hosts the XII edition of the Painting Biennial of the Atlantic Zone till 30 January.

This initiative is a stimulus for artistic creation, whilst enabling the cultural exchange and the awareness of artists from the Peninsular north-western.

The Biennial is jointly organised by the Atlantic Zone of the Youth Foundation and the General Secretariat for Culture of Xunta de Galicia. This event is already considered one of the three biggest exhibitions within the Iberian Peninsula.

The exhibit refers to the biennium 2017-2018, and includes 29 unpublished works (selected out of the 100 submitted for appreciation) by native or resident artists in the North region of Portugal or in Galicia.

The display also comprises the awarded works by the winners of the Atlantic Zone and the Gallic-Portuguese Young Talents.

This exhibit will be on show in eleven more cities, the closing date being December 2018.
