House-Museum Marta Ortigão Sampaio (CMMOS) carries on mini workshops in handcraft and experimenting with materials to decorate the museum for the International Museum day on May 18th.

Under the concept of the creation of flowers in different materials, participants are invited to take part in this celebration whose main topic for this year's edition is "Hyperconnected Museums: New Approaches, New Publics".

Participation in this workshops is free of charge and the sessions are oriented by museologist Isabel Andradre Silva. The wokshops are divided in four sessions, every Monday afternoon (16 and 23 April, and 7 and 14 May), and participants can take part in all sessions or attend just a few.

The educational materials will be offered by the museum's Educational Services and applicants are allowed to bring any specific tools or materials they wish to use.

The House-Museum Marta Ortigão Sampaio re-opened to the public in September last year after the renovation works.
