Wines from 33 producers from 11 Portuguese demarcated regions can be found in the 2nd edition of Wine Fest Porto, scheduled for 18 November at the Customs' Salão Nobre.

This year, the highlight goes to the three Special Wine Tastings, limited to 25 seats each. The first wine tasting is set for 3.30 pm, and it is a vertical wine tasting of the Casa da Passarella- Villa Oliveira landmark wines, in the Dão Region.

It is considered a rare wine tasting, guided by the oenologist Paulo Nunes and culminating in the presentation of two new editions: Villa Oliveira 125 Years of History and Villa Oliveira Black Label - 1st edition.

At 5 pm it is time for "Joaquim Arnaud's secrets", an opportunity to taste the past, the present and the future of the wines produced by Joaquim Arnaud, from Pavia, in the Alentejo region, to know the top of the range benchmarks, wines of low production volume, novelties and rarities which are not available in the market.

At 6.30 pm, the "Horácio Simões - A Story on the Moscatel Roxo grapes" wine tasting takes place, one of the most iconic Portuguese vine variety designations.

According to the organisation, "this Wine Edition is filled with incredible wine tastings". All the producers have been carefully selected as to "ensure an adequate representation of wine producing regions in Portugal". Wines with excellent quality will guarantee an unforgettable sensory experience.

Visitors from all corners of the world will attend the event itself. The admission fee will be 10 euros. Each Special Wine Tasting costs 20 euros and there is an Oenophile Pack available at 50 euros, which includes access to the "Special Wine Tastings".

The Wine Fest event opens doors at 3 pm and closes at 8 pm.
