New Navy ship docks at Cais da Estiva

During the weekend, the newest coastal patrol vessel will dock at Cais da Estiva, in Ribeira.
The vessel, named "Douro" is open for visitors this Sunday, 16 July. This new ship will operate in the autonomous region of Madeira to engage in search and rescue duty at sea, as stated by the Navy. Its first mission is scheduled for 19 July.
The vessel docks in Porto Cais da Estiva Saturday morning and can be visited by the public at large, from 10 am to 12 am and from 2 pm to 6 pm.
