There are three weekly online broadcasts by Casa da Música. This is the perfect opportunity to appreciate some of the best moments highlighted by that concert hall. It is free of charge! Indulge!

While this is not the time to return to freedom (!), with closed doors and lockdown measures to help fight the new coronavirus, there are things to cling to, namely music and be transported to positive moods that help go about this hardship.

Casa da Música, in Porto, opens doors to some of the most fascinating concerts and events that went on stage. The weekly streaming is free. The programme features the extraordinary "Concertos Fora de Série", on Wednesdays, at 9 pm, the Sunday shows for the younger audiences, at 11 am, with educational activities, and the "Concertos da Casa", on Sundays, as well, at 5 pm, with some of the iconic classical repertoire.

The next events in the agenda are “Vésperas de Natal”, by the Baroque Orchestra and the Casa da Música Choir, on 17th February, at 9 pm. See here the full programme.

The day before each streaming, there will be provided information regarding the events, namely interviews with maestros, composers and soloists, room page, programme notes, and other, which enable to better understand the events streamed.
