Municipal Gallery launches catalogue of exhibit "Quatro Elementos"

Porto Municipal Gallery launches the catalogue of the exhibition "Quatro Elementos", on a session that will take place at the hall of the Auditorium of the Municipal Library Almeida Garrett (Palácio de Cristal Gardens), on March 17, starting at 5 pm. This session is access free and it will be attended by curators Ana Luísa Amaral, Eduarda Neves, Pedro Faro and Nuno Faria.

The exhibit "Quatro Elementos" [Four Elements], which was on show at Porto Municipal Garden from September 1 till November 12, 2017, was held in the context of Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen universe, which has inspired last year's edition of Porto Book Fair. The display was organised onwards a cosmogonic artistic setting of Natural Elements.

In this catalogue, one can find documents on the four curatorial projects which were the basis for the exhibit, as well as a set of essays on the work the curators decided to put on display.

The catalogue launch is preceded by a guided tour at 4 pm to the "Germinal" exhibition, on display at the gallery.

"Germinal", a collection by Cabrita Reis of the EDP Foundation's Art Collection, will be inaugurated at 9.30 pm on 16 March. Access is free.
