Longing to go see a movie? Cinema Trindade is open on weekend mornings

Independent movie theatre Trindade Cinema is adjusting to the pandemic restrictions and delivers movie sessions on weekend mornings. The multi prized film Listen’, by Portuguese director Ana Rocha de Sousa will play on the big screen.

Theatres and cinemas are dealing with restrictions and constraints that hinder their sustainability as the impact amid the coronavirus pandemic has been huge. As such, there are challenges to overcome and the mandatory curfew in place make it necessary for movie theatres to find new ways to overcome difficulties, and because on weekends doors must be shut by 1pm, Cinema Trindade, in Porto, keeps doors open with new timetables.

The film ‘Amor Fati’, by Portuguese director Cláudia Varejão, premières on 12th November and in the week from 12th to 18th November, he film is screened at 10.30am on Saturday and Sunday and at 8.30pm on Friday, Tuesday and Wednesday. On 16th and 20th November, there will be special sessions with the presence of the director.

The multi-award winning film ‘Listen’, by Ana Rocha de Sousa, takes to the big screen at Cinema Trindade on 14th and 15th November, at 11am. From 12th to 18th November, the film is screened at 2.30pm, 3pm, 6pm and 9pm.

The weekend of 21st and 22nd November, the morning double sessions continue with the film ‘Gabriel e a Montanha’, by Fellipe Barbosa (10.30am) and ‘Amor Fati’, by Cláudia Varejão (10.35am).
