Get lost in Porto and find yourself in markets all across town

There's plenty to be heartened by in Porto these days. The city's urban setting is coloured with street markets all across town to enliven spirits and offer joyful moments. Some stands are already set to welcome visitors, and other stalls will feature special editions throughout the weekend.
Porto's gardens and squares offer handcraft, design product, clothing items, props, vintage products and antiques. 

CRAFT MARKET IN PORTO

This market will be on display every weekend, till September ends, near the Rectory of the University of Porto, from Thursday to Saturday, from 10 am to 8 pm, in downtown Porto.

Here, visitors encounter handmade and traditional creations by 80 regional traders.

MERCADO DA ALEGRIA AT SÃO LÁZARO GARDEN

São Lázaro Garden hosts the second weekend of the "Verão no Jardim" municipal initiative. It will run from 7 pm till 1 am, on Saturday and from 4 pm till 8 pm, on Sunday. This entertainment programme features music, DJs and concerts. 

Alongside this initiative, there will be the Mercado da Alegria.

ANTIQUE AND COLLECTIBES FAIR

On the third Saturday of each month, Doutor Francisco Sá Carneiro Square (aka Praça de Velazquez) plays host to this event, from 8 am to 8 pm.

ST BARTHOLOMEW FESTIVITIES - dual event

Several stands, showcasing clothing items, props, and handmade art await under the Pergola in Foz till the 17th August, from 10 am to 8 pm.

Nearby, the Molhe Square hosts the 4th Saint Bartholomew Book Feast, on display till the 27th August.
