Gallery owner from Porto is in Europe's top 40 list

The Apollo International Art Magazine has included, for the first time, a Portuguese marchand in the list of the 40 best cultural players in Europe.

The gallery owner, from Porto, was selected for the under 40 category. Nuno Centeno was awarded at The Wallace Collection, in London.

Centeno says that "I was taken by surprise as I was near people I admire and most of all, I realised that the jurors, who have selected me, are aware that I exist, they know who I am".

Nuno Centeno is the son of visual artist Sobral Centeno, and develops his work in this area since 2007. On 19 October, Nuno will open his most recent art space, the Artist Book Gallery, at Cooperativa dos Pedreiros, in Porto.
