It is the oldest music festival that continues to be held year after year in Portugal.

The "Noites Ritual" commemorates 25 years and invites several generations of spectators to gather in the Gardens of Cristal Palace.

It is an old rendez-vous between the city and Portuguese music, renewed annually. Entrance is free, as always.

Repórter Estrábico, The Legendary Tigerman and Sean Riley & The Slowriders are the headliners of this edition, which also includes a celebration project of the 25 years of "Noites Ritual" by Rita Redshoes & The Ritual Band, among other surprises. Concerts begin at 11 pm.

The programme includes the usual "Mercado Ritual" (a market that sells clothes and accessories, handmade garments and second hand items), several exhibitions, and this year, also, the presentation of a documentary on the history of the festival.

The "Noites Ritual" have been ongoing since 1992, without interval, and the focus has always been national music, promoting and sharing projects that are now well established in the music scene.

In that regard, this years' headliners have a special meaning as they revisit the bands that were part of the so-called "The Last Summer Festival".

The "Noites Ritual" are sponsored by the City Hall.
