FC Porto European Champions are welcomed at Porto City Hall to celebrate the UEFA Youth League title

The under-19 team of FC Porto, who triumphed yesterday by defeating Chelsea in the UEFA Youth League Finals, will be officially welcomed at Porto City Hall by the Mayor of Porto Rui Moreira, at 5pm.

The youth players of the Porto team will be accompanied by the technical team, by the FC Porto leaders, including the President Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa.

During this very meaningful ceremony, the Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira will thank the commitment and competence these young players have showed to the highest level.

FC Porto faced Chelsea and emerged victorious (3-1) in the Final that took place in Nyon, Switzerland, thereby reaping the first Lennart Johansson Trophy of Porto and of Portuguese Football.

The UEFA Youth League is an association football competition for all under age players registered to the 32 senior clubs that qualify for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, plus 32 domestic youth champions.
