Family programming with DDD Festival in Porto, Gaia and Matosinhos

The DDD Festival - Dias de Dança offers a wide range of activities at different times and in various geographical areas within the municipalities of the Atlantic Front, Porto, Gaia and Matosinhos. 

Masterclasses, workshops and temporary performances, art in public spaces.

DDD Extra suggests free artistic events, namely the workshop presented by Cristina Planas Leitão that will debate the common physicality of various shows. This event will take place at D. João I. Square, 6 May, starting at 3 pm.

Also, the workshop directed by Mário Afonso "Com uma perna às costas (as easy as pie)" takes place between Monday and Friday, 8 to 12 May, in the French Lyceum. This workshop deals with the cumulative intake of gestures and actions by the participants without thinking much of it.

The DDD OUT, which takes dance to public space, premieres a show at the Casa do Design in Matosinhos on Friday, 12 May at 4 pm, by Isabel Barros and Vítor Rua. "A Lagardère" is a random game between a choreographer, a musician and six interpreters, where nothing "pre-conceived" exists, except for a list of instructions. The show unveils as the choreographer dictates instructions during the performance.

Also Max Oliveira, with "M & M", promises a lot of music and movement for all ages on Saturday, 13 May 13, at D. João I Square, starting at noon.
