Family Film Project is on in town till 20 October

The Family Film Project 2018 is in Porto from 15 to 20 October. Daniel Blaufuks is the invited artist, whose films will be screened the two last evenings of the event, namely "Sob Céus Estranhos (2002)", "The Absence (2009)", "Carpe Diem (2010)" and "Como Se (2014)".

Also, Bill Nichols and Paula Rabinowitz will deliver two masterclasses at Passos Manuel. "In the Beginning", on 17 October, at 3 pm and "Cold War Dads: Fathers and the National Security", on 19 October, at 3 pm, respectively.

The book "Unframing Archives" will be presented on 17 October. This book features a collection of texts by Andrzej Marzec, Bill Nichols, Catarina Mourão, Deirdre Boyle, Éfren Cuevas, Fernanda Fragateiro, Filipe Martins and Miguel Leal, on the topics of cinema, arts and archive.

Later that day, at Passos Manuel, the feature film "Marias da Sé", by Filipe Martins, debuts at 9.30 pm. The community of Sé in Porto are part of the cast.

Throughout the festival, Passos Manuel will play host to video-installations and the screening of three films, especially selected by their visual and sound features.

The cycle of performances themed "Private Collection", will be held at the pub Maus Hábitos, relying on Joana Craveiro, Jorge Gonçalves and Miguel Bonneville.

The younger age audiences have the Children's Workshop, the Balletteatrinho, waiting for them at Coliseu Porto Ageas.
